Workshop on the representation theory of p-adic groups
and connections to quantum groups, geometry and combinatorics

University of Amsterdam / Korteweg-de Vries Institute for Mathematics

General Information: The main theme of this workshop is the representation theory of p-adic groups and their generalizations, like metaplectic groups and loop groups and its interaction with quantum representation theory (quantum groups, Hecke algebras, Kazhdan-Lusztig combinatorics, geometric representation theory etc.). We hope to bring toghether a mix of people to allow for exchange of ideas and cross-disciplinary collaborations with great benefit to both areas.

Organizer: Valentin Buciumas. Contact at valentin dot buciumas at gmail dot com.

Time and Place: The workshop will take place May 1-3, 2023 in Room D1.111 in building Science Park 904 at the University of Amsterdam.

Registration: If you plan to attend, please register here. Registration is free; it is needed for catering purposes and for sending announcements. You might also receive a name tag if you complete the registration.
